Listing of Flowers Used in Design:

The flowers used in this design are as follows:  The basket is made from the petals of alstromeria. 
Some of the flowers were cut designs from the
 petals of yellow, red, and pink roses. Red, pink, and lavender variegated carnation petals were cut into various designs also.  Other flowers used
in the design were dyed orange wax flowers, dyed pink baby’s breath,

and dyed green tree fern.

Meaning of Flowers Used in Design:

 Flowers have a language of their own. All roses say, I love you,
but each color has it’s own meaning. Yellow is joy, red means love,
 and pink is grace and gentility.  Alstromeria is devotion, baby’s breath is happiness, statice is sympathy,
and carnation is distinction and fascination,
 and fern is sincerity.
